We are here to make your learning experience in med school more exciting.

Welcome aboard to a grand and fascinating educational tour for medical students to the capital of the United States of America by ACHIEVERS LEAGUE USA.

We are an educational organization based in Maryland and Arkansas and our mission is to enrich scientific minds worldwide by organizing educational programs for future scientists and physicians.

What's included in this tour?

– Guided attendance at the American Association of Cancer Research meeting 2017

– Workshops on Scientific Writing Skills

– Meetings and discussions with current medical students/residents and scientists in USA

– Guided tour of the Clinical Center (world’s super specialty hospital) at NIH

– Guided city tour of Washington, D.C.

– Visit the famous Smithsonian museums

– 06 nights at Hotel Radisson or similar, in Washington D.C. metro area

– Daily healthy buffet breakfast

– Lunch on your own

– Daily Indian/American Vegetarian/Non-vegetarian dinners at local restaurants

– Return Economy Class group airfare as per itinerary (Presently calculated as prevailing on 31 August 2016) 

– Ticket taxes are included in the cost (Presently calculated as prevailing on 31 August 2016)

– Normal travel insurance will be provided for the duration of the trip.

Please contact the American consulate in your state/country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Please begin the visa application process as early as possible, unless you are eligible to travel as US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Information is available on the U.S. Department of State website at http://www.travel.state.gov/.

– There are only 12 slots available for this tour.

– The travel dates are not flexible due to scheduling with the AACR 2017.

-All registration fees for the workshops, conference, local transfers, sight-seeing and hospitals are included. You will travel by a deluxe air-conditioned SUV or metro. All services and local taxes are included; gratuity for the restaurants and hotel staff is excluded.

– We will provide our service manager in Washington DC, while on tour.

– There will be 4 students in one room with an option to upgrade the room for a fee.

– The schedule of events in the agenda is subject to change. However, you will not miss any events. Please check with our representative for final details.

  • 6:30am-7:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:30am-9:30am: Meet and Greet session with the ACHIEVERS LEAGUE experts
  • 9:30am to 6:00pm: DC tour
  • 7:00pm: Dinner
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 3: Friday March 31st, 2017

  • 6:30am-7:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 10:00am-3:00pm: Welcome reception by ACHIEVERS LEAGUE in DC
  • 3:00pm-6:00pm: Clarksburg Outlet malls
  • 7:00pm: Dinner
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 4: Saturday April 1st, 2017

  • Visit Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
  • 6:30am-10:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 2:00pm: Registration and Badge pick up for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) meeting 2017
  • 2:00pm-6:00pm: Attend meeting sessions at AACR and evening reception
  • 7:00pm: Dinner
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 5: Sunday April 2nd, 2017

  • Visit Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
  • 6:30am-10:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:00am-5:00pm: AACR meeting
  • 5:00pm-7:00pm: Meet and Greet session with the Scientific Writers in different specialties in US.
  • 7:00pm: Dinner
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 6: Monday April 3rd, 2017

  • Visit Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
  • 6:30am-10:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:00am-6:00pm: AACR meeting
  • 7:00pm: Dinner with a Professor of Medical college
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 7: Tuesday April 4th, 2017

  • Visit National Institutes of Health
  • 6:30am-10:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:00am-1:00pm: Hospital tour/ Clinical center
  • 6:00pm-8:00pm: Closing ceremony by ACHIEVERS LEAGUE in the Hotel lobby, distribution of certificates, and trophies.
  • 7:00pm: Dinner
  • 8:00pm: Drop off at the Hotel

DAY 8: Wednesday April 5th, 2017

  • 6:30am-10:30am: Healthy Start Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:00am-1:00pm: To be announced
  • 3:00 pm: Drop off at the Airport, and flight back home
