Basic Scientific Writing Course

Basic Scientific Writing Course is an entry-level program and teaches essential writing style. We have included multiple examples and peer-review exercises to make your learning experience more practical. Coursework includes topics such as scientific English grammar, emails, statement of purposes, letter of recommendations, scientific CV, and how to write undergraduate/graduate school applications. This course provides opportunity to the students to get their assignments published in the format of a newsletter. These courses are of great benefit to science and non-science students. High school students and school teachers benefit extensively from the Basic Scientific Writing Course.

Course format
This course is divided into 4 weeks and we will send you constant feedback on your writing style. We use an online portal to make your learning experience more exciting. You will learn to use audio-visual tools, take quizzes and writing assignments, write reports, and do peer-review work. We will send you a KIT containing all the study material that you can use as a reference in the future.

Eligibility
Students/teachers with science background and currently enrolled in high school will be preferred.

Certificate of participation
All students with minimum of 50% marks will receive a certificate of participation.

Time commitment
A time commitment of 5h per week is required and access to internet is preferred, but not required.

Course material
We will ship you all the course material needed for this course one week prior to the start date.
